E.B. Stone Organics Perlite for Plants - Coarse Perlite Soil Amendment for Drainage and Aeration - 8 Quart
E.B. Stone Organics Perlite is a porous, lightweight soil amendment that adds air space around plant roots and helps excess water move through the growing medium. It is a handy ingredient for houseplants, container gardens, propagation mixes and custom potting blends.
Key Features
- Porous, lightweight perlite amendment
- Improves aeration and adds drainage to potting mixes
- Helps prevent soil compaction
- Great for houseplants, containers and custom potting blends
- Registered Organic Input Material with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA)
How to Use
Thoroughly blend perlite into potting soil or growing medium before planting, adjusting the amount to the plant's drainage needs. Mix it throughout the medium rather than applying it only to the surface, and use containers with drainage holes. Because perlite increases drainage, watering frequency may need to be adjusted.
