Insecticides, fungicides, miticides and slug and snail baits for the home garden, including organic and OMRI Listed options from Monterey and Organocide. Always read and follow the product label.
How to choose pest and disease control
Identify the problem first, then pick the product made for it. Insects and mites, fungal diseases, and slugs and snails each need a different type of product, and using the wrong one wastes time and can stress plants.
- Chewing caterpillars: biological products such as Bt target caterpillars specifically.
- Soft-bodied insects and mites: soaps, horticultural oils, neem oil and pyrethrin-based sprays are common choices.
- Fungal diseases: copper and phosphorous acid fungicides are used for problems like mildew and rot.
- Slugs and snails: iron phosphate baits such as Sluggo.
Always read and follow the label before you buy and before every use, including the approved plants, timing and protective-equipment directions, since not every product is approved for every plant. Scouting regularly helps you catch problems early. Some products here are pickup in store only and cannot ship. See the full Insecticides & Miticides and Fungicides collections.
