Botanicare Original Grow Tray 5 ft Wide Black ABS Bench Tray - Drain Tray and End Tray

Botanicare Original Grow Trays (formerly marketed as the Grow Mod tray system) are heavy-gauge black recycled ABS trays, molded in the USA, for greenhouse and grow-room benches. This 5-foot-wide line is modular: a drain tray at one end, any number of mid trays, and an end tray at the other are bonded end to end with Bond Three lap tray sealant. This listing offers the 5 ft drain tray and the short 5 ft x 2 ft end tray.

Key Features

• Heavy-gauge black recycled ABS, molded in the USA and designed to resist bowing, cracking and leaking
• 4.5 in nominal sidewalls (4.7 in overall) for drip, ebb-and-flow or lettuce-raft growing
• Molded raised-pad floor lifts containers off the tray floor so runoff flows between the pads
• Bond end to end with Bond Three lap tray sealant (sold separately) to build benches from about 10.5 ft to 100.5 ft in 5 ft steps
• Listed as compatible with the Botanicare Slide Bench System
• Drain tray has a molded sump recess where you fit your own bulkhead drain

How to Use

Build a bench with a drain tray at one end, mid trays as needed and an end tray at the other. On the drain tray, drill the sump with a 1-3/8 in step bit and fit a 3/4 in or 1 in bulkhead, then set a drain screen over it. The drain hardware is not included.
