How to Use
New containers: mix 1 part castings to 5 parts media (1:3 for more moisture retention). Existing containers: top-dress with up to 1 inch and reapply every 2-3 months. Outdoors: 1 inch in the planting hole for vegetables and flowers; 1 cup per plant for shrubs and trees (up to 5 cups for larger specimens). Lawns: 1 cubic foot per 1,000 sq ft at the start of the growing season. Compost tea: 2 cups castings per 5 gallons of water, steeped 24 hours or aerated up to 36 hours.
