How to Use
Recommended rates to raise pH, per 100 sq ft: 3 lb (6 cups) for soil at pH 6.0, 5 lb (10 cups) at pH 5.5, or 10 lb (20 cups) at pH 5.0. New gardens: 1 to 1.5 lb per 100 sq ft. Trees and shrubs: 1/2 to 1 lb per 1 inch of trunk diameter around the base. Most garden plants prefer a soil pH between 6.0 and 7.0, so a soil analysis or home pH test kit is recommended before applying.
